I love that painting!
Recently I've discovered that I can do much better PS paintings if I just start with a solid drawing that I've scanned in, with clear direction, lighting, etc. Before (especially at work) I always just started from scratch in Photoshop, where it is easy to take advantage of the tools to manipulate things and fiddle with proportion, design, etc. I just found that I could move forward a lot easier if I had a solid drawing that works on paper, then just use that as a guide. I think my brain just can't handle too many things at once or something, haha.
Nice work D. I took this class a few months ago and loved it. Keep up the good work.
